A
Guide for Healthcare Leaders
This
2-day highly experiential program is designed for mid- and
executive-level leaders responsible for an organized
nursing or interdisciplinary program or service across
departments, service settings or system-wide. Leaders will

define their role in ensuring a
culturally competent workplace

identify the impact of cultural
competence in managing human capital and providing quality
care
-
create an action plan for
designing a culturally competent work environment
-
develop strategies for
addressing multi-generational workplace issues
Supporting
the Needs of the Frontline Healthcare Provider
This 2-day highly interactive program is
designed for first-line supervisors responsible for a
unit or service, direct caregivers including all levels of
nursing staff, physical or respiratory therapists, dietary
personnel,
support
staff, or anyone who may interact with patients, residents
and/or their families. The course will address the impact of
cultural and multi-generational diversity on providing quality
care to a diverse patient, resident or client population.

environment assessment

conduct a personal assessment
regarding cultural and multi-generational inclusion

review roles in creating a
culturally competent care environment

develop an action plan for
promoting an inclusive workplace

identify cross-generational
issues and develop strategies for resolving
multi-generational conflict in the workplace
