American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), signed by President Obama on February 17, 2009, is intended to preserve and create jobs, promote the nation’s economic recovery, and to assist those most impacted by the recession. The workforce funding provided in the Recovery Act will play a vital role in America’s economic recovery by assisting workers who are facing unprecedented challenges to retool their skills and re-establish themselves in viable career paths. CPWDC has formulated ARRA Priorities and Implementation Strategies as they related to the Central Pennsylvania Region.
