I Have a Career Readiness Certificate (CRC)

Many employers across the Central Pennsylvania Region recognize this credential; some even request or require it for application. For more information on employers and how they are using the Career Readiness Certificate please visit the PA CareerLink®. Here is a list of Participating Employers.

What can I do with my WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate?
If you have taken the WorkKeys assessments in the Central Pennsylvania, you were issued a Central Pennsylvania CRC and, as of February 2010, the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC). Both are valuable tools to help you stand out to employers. Here are a few ways you can showcase the certificates on your resume.
- Make several copies of your CRC to attach to resumes and applications.
- Because of the special paper of the NCRC, photocopies cannot be made. However you can add this information to your resume for employers to recognize. Showcase your WorkKeys on your resume.
National Career Readiness Certificate
Each NCRC is numbered and can be verified on ACT’s database of certificate recipients. Employers can go to http://www.act.org/certificate/verify.html and enter your certificate number to verify.
Once you recieve your NCRC, you’ll be given your username and password for the site along with directions on how to make your certificate viewable for employers by registering on your www.myworkkeys.com account. (*If you do not register on the www.myworkkeys.com account and make your NCRC viewable electronically, employers will not be able to verify your NCRC as per instructed on your resume.)
Once you register, you can:
- create and share the Certificate electronically for free
- allow employers to verify your Certificate details
- order a printed National Career Readiness Certificate for only $15
- order your WorkKeys transcript for only $5
