RECOGNIZE the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

  • As an employer recognizing the NCRC, you accept any level certificate with applications and resumes.  We will help you understand how to use an applicant’s NCRC to determine if they possess the foundational skills and abilities to learn and perform on the job. All job postings with the PA CareerLink® will indicate “WorkKeys® Recognizing Employer” to increase the visibility of your job opening to a pool of qualified applicants.

 REQUEST the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC)

  • As an employer requesting the NCRC, you accept any level certificate with applications and resumes. We will assist you in using the NCRC as a pre-screening tool to review potential job applicants’ documented skill levels in relation to the desired skill levels of a specific job. All job postings with the PA CareerLink® will indicate “WorkKeys® Requesting Employer”, to increase the visibility of your job opening to a pool of qualified applicants. The PA CareerLink® staff will assist you in using the NCRC for pre-screening applicants before the interview process begins. Please see additional features below.

  • As a Level I employer you make the NCRC a standard component of the hiring process and agree to accept any level of a NCRC for application.  We will assist you in using the NCRC as a pre-screening tool to review potential job applicants’ documented skills. Employer agrees to post all job openings with the PA CareerLink® and the postings will indicate “WorkKeys® Required Employer”. Please see additional features below.
  • As a Level II employer you make the NCRC a standard component of the hiring process and agree to use WorkKeys® Job Analysis on specific occupations (SkillMap® or Job Profiling). CPWDC and the PA CareerLink® will assist you with customized job analysis.
