I Already Have a Certificate


This is a valuable tool to help you stand out to employers. The WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) serves as a portable credential that can supplement your established work history, diploma, or degree.

Here are a few things you should know about your NCRC:

  • Each NCRC is numbered and can be verified on ACT’s database of certificate recipients.
  • Once you receive your NCRC, you’ll be given your username and password for the www.myworkkeys.com website along with directions on how to make your certificate viewable for employers by registering on your “My WorkKeys” account.
  • Employers can go to http://www.act.org/certificate/verify.html and enter your certificate number to verify.
  • Because of the special paper used to print the NCRC, photocopies cannot be made. However, you can customize this information and add it to your resume as an accomplishment:

Issue Date: (insert date)
Certificate # (insert certificate number)
A (insert level) National Career Readiness Certificate is awarded to an individual who scores a Level (6,5,4 or 3) or above on all WorkKeys assessments—Applied Mathematics, Locating Information, and Reading for Information. This credential is registered with ACT in the National Career Readiness Certificate database and may be verified at http://www.act.org/certificate/verify.html or by calling CPWDC at 570.568.6868.

Why should I register my NCRC on the MyWorkKeys account?

  • Create and share the NCRC electronically for free
  • Allow employers to verify your NCRC (if you do not register your NCRC, employer cannot verify it electronically like instructed on your resume)
  • Order an additional printed NCRC for only $16.00
  • Order your WorkKeys® transcript for only $5.50
